Knicks knockout 76ers, set up clash with Pacers

The New York Knicks have moved on to the next round of the NBA playoffs after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 118-115 Thursday night in New York.

The Knicks came out firing early in the first, but the 76ers quickly answered and went on a run of their own in the second quarter. Like many games in this series, this one was hard-fought and came down to the wire, but it’s the Knicks who have come out on top and will host the Indiana Pacers in the second round.

Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 41 points, his third straight game scoring at least 40.

Reigning MVP Joel Embiid had a team-high 39 points in the loss.
