The Toronto Maple Leafs avoided arbitration with forward Connor Dewar, as the team announced they have signed The Pas, MB native to a one-year $1.18 million contract.

The 25-year-old had 19 points in 74 games, scoring 11 goals and eight assists. Dewar was acquired by the Leafs from the Minnesota Wild at the 2024 trade deadline. Dewar played in 57 games with the Wild and 17 games with Toronto.

In 190 career NHL games, Dewar has 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points.

Dewar was drafted 92nd overall in the third round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild.
