POSTGAME QUOTES

HEAD COACH JOHN GRUDEN

On tonight’s game:
We didn’t come out with much energy. We were kind of flat for whatever reason but we reset and talked about some things between the first and the second and I thought we played 40 really good minutes tonight for the most part. (Peksa) kept us in it … (Being down early) is not a recipe for success but I did like our response to that first period.

MARC JOHNSTONE (1 ASSIST)

On Vyacheslav Peksa’s performance:
He’s out there and has played four straight. It’s obviously tough for him. He’s got to manage his practice but he’s been great for us, he’s been kicking. He’s a great guy to play for. He’s just a happy go lucky guy around the rink.

CEDRIC PARE
