The first-ever NXT Premium Live Event to air on The CW delivered an entertaining night from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Five championships were defended, a new women’s champion was crowned, and Tony D’Angelo once again proved why he sits atop NXT. 

Results

NXT Championship: Tony D’Angelo def. Naraku to retain the NXT Championship. Despite entering the match with an injured eye after Naraku’s fireball attack, D’Angelo overcame the odds to keep his title. 

NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey def. Lola Vice to become the new NXT Women’s Champion after an outstanding main event. Grey’s emotional victory capped off her rapid rise through the NXT ranks. 

NXT Women’s North American Championship: Zaria retained her title against Tatum Paxley in what many considered the match of the night, featuring several dramatic near falls

NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne defeated Tavion Heights to successfully retain the championship.

WWE Women’s Speed Championship: Wren Sinclair retained against Arianna Grace. 

Shiloh Hill defeated Tristan Angels.

Dion Lennox defeated Saquan Shugars. 

Highlights

The night’s biggest story was Kendal Grey capturing her first NXT Women’s Championship, while Tony D’Angelo continued his dominant reign with another gutsy title defense. Zaria and Tatum Paxley also stole the show with a hard-hitting Women’s North American Championship match that earned widespread praise. 

Overall

NXT Great American Bash 2026 successfully showcased the brand’s next generation of stars. With Tony D’Angelo still leading the men’s division and Kendal Grey ushering in a new era as NXT Women’s Champion, the event set the stage for an exciting summer in NXT.
