Ryan Garcia puts his WBC welterweight championship on the line for the first time when he meets Britain’s Conor Benn in one of the most anticipated boxing matchups of the year. Garcia enters with a 25-2 record and 20 knockouts, while Benn is 25-1 with 14 KOs. .

Garcia’s greatest advantage is his speed. His explosive left hook remains one of the most dangerous punches in the division, and his ability to attack from distance could make Benn’s aggressive style extremely risky.
Garcia also comes in with considerable world-level experience and momentum after defeating Mario Barrios by unanimous decision in February to capture the WBC welterweight title. This will be his first defense.
