The Leafs are bringing back their original Maple Leafs logo from the 1926–27 season.
It commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Toronto Maple Leafs name. The franchise changed its name from the Toronto St. Pats to the Maple Leafs ahead of the 1926–27 season.
The vintage logo will be painted at centre ice inside Scotiabank Arena throughout the 2026–27 season.
The move is part of a broader celebration of the club’s history as it enters its centennial season under the Maple Leafs name.
It’s a particularly appropriate design for the season because Toronto’s 2026–27 regular season opens September 29 against the Montreal Canadiens at Scotiabank Arena.
Important: The team has not confirmed that this same vintage logo will appear on the new Hometown Remix alternate jersey.
