Detroit came out aggressive and never really let Toronto settle in. Cade Cunningham was in total command, finishing with 28 points, nine assists and seven rebounds. He dictated pace and picked apart defensive gaps.
The early shock came from Paul Reed, who erupted for 22 first quarter points. That tone set the table for the rest of the night.
For Toronto, Immanuel Quickley led with 18 points, while Scottie Barnes filled the stat sheet again with 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, four blocks and three steals. Brandon Ingram added 13 points, but the offense never truly found its groove.
It was a frustrating performance, especially at home, but sometimes the timing of the All Star break can be a reset button.
👏 Let’s Go Raptors 👏
