UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Horiguchi took place June 20 at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, and delivered an action-packed card highlighted by a dramatic flyweight main event.

In the main event, Manel Kape earned the biggest win of his UFC career, stopping Kyoji Horiguchi by third-round TKO at 2:42. After a competitive fight that saw Horiguchi enjoy success with his grappling, Kape landed a crushing counter right hand before finishing the bout with ground-and-pound. The victory avenged a loss to Horiguchi from their 2017 meeting in Japan and extended Kape’s knockout streak while strengthening his case for a UFC flyweight title shot.

The co-main event featured rising light heavyweight prospect Navajo Stirling, who remained unbeaten by defeating Ion Cutelaba via TKO. Stirling improved to 10-0 and continued his rapid climb up the division.

Elsewhere on the main card, Christian Rodriguez handed Hyder Amil another setback with a submission victory, while Murtazali Magomedov produced one of the night’s most memorable moments, securing a rare twister submission against Melsik Baghdasaryan. The spectacular finish earned Magomedov a Performance of the Night bonus.

The Fight of the Night honors went to the featherweight clash between Vinicius Oliveira and Andre Fili, while Kape and Magomedov each received Performance of the Night bonuses for their standout finishes.

With his emphatic victory, Kape emerged as the biggest winner of UFC Fight Night and appears poised to enter the conversation for a championship opportunity in the UFC’s flyweight division.
