WWE Money in the Bank 2026 arrives Saturday, October 10, live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

The event begins at 6 p.m. ET, with two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches headlining a card packed with major championship implications.

World Heavyweight Championship

Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight 1st match

Prediction: Roman Reigns retains

This is one of the most anticipated matches on the card.

Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta in September, only for LA Knight to confront him immediately afterward. WWE subsequently made the championship match official.

Knight has the crowd firmly behind him and has the momentum to make this a competitive fight, but Reigns losing the championship here would be a major surprise.

Pick: Roman Reigns

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Bron Breakker vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Trick Williams vs. Penta vs. CM Punk vs. Kevin Owens

This is arguably the most unpredictable match of the night,. The six competitors bring very different styles, from Breakker’s explosive power to Punk and Owens’ experience.

Favorites

CM Punk — The veteran understands exactly how to win a chaotic ladder match and already has Money in the Bank history.

Bron Breakker — Breakker could use the briefcase to establish himself as an immediate World Championship threat.

Trick Williams — His popularity and momentum make him an intriguing choice.

Kevin Owens — Owens has the experience and willingness to take enormous risks.

Prediction: CM Punk wins

Punk winning the briefcase would immediately create multiple storyline possibilities.

A future cash-in against Reigns—or another major champion—would give WWE a huge angle heading toward WrestleMania season.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Sol Ruca vs. Lola Vice vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Lash Legend vs. Tiffany Stratton

The women’s field is loaded with young talent and championship experience. Tiffany Stratton, Roxanne Perez and Jacy Jayne are particularly dangerous in this environment.

Favorites

Tiffany Stratton — A former Money in the Bank winner, Stratton knows how important the briefcase can be.

Roxanne Perez — Her technical ability and athleticism make her an excellent ladder-match competitor.

Lash Legend — Her size gives her a significant advantage around the ladders..?

.

Sol Ruca — One of the most athletic competitors in the field.

Prediction: Tiffany Stratton wins

Stratton would instantly become a threat to either women’s world championship.

Another Money in the Bank victory would also reinforce her position as one of WWE’s top future stars.

Women’s World Championship

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan

Prediction: Stephanie Vaquer retains

Vaquer reclaimed the Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan in Chile, with Becky Lynch serving as special guest referee.

The rivalry between Vaquer, Lynch and Morgan has now evolved into a Triple Threat title match

This could be one of the night’s best technical matches.

?Morgan and Lynch have plenty of motivation to take the championship, but Vaquer has an opportunity to establish herself as the centerpiece of the division.

Pick: Stephanie Vaquer

Oba Femi vs. Bronson Reed

Prediction: Oba Femi

This is the power fight of the night.

Femi has been targeted by The Vision, with Reed stepping forward to answer Femi’s challenge.

The matchup pits two of WWE’s most physically imposing competitors against each other.

.

Biggest Questions

Who climbs the ladder first?

The men’s match could go in several directions, but CM Punk is my pick..

Can Tiffany Stratton become a two-time Money in the Bank winner?

She has the experience and athleticism to make it happen.

Will LA Knight finally become World Champion?.

Knight has the momentum, but Reigns remains the safer prediction.

?

Could we see a cash-in?

That’s always the wildcard.

The briefcase is valuable because it can completely change WWE’s championship landscape at any moment.

Final Outlook.

Money in the Bank 2026 has the potential to be one of WWE’s most consequential events of the fall.

The two ladder matches could establish the next generation of championship challengers, while Roman Reigns, LA Knight and Stephanie Vaquer bring major championship stakes to the card.

Overall prediction: CM Punk and Tiffany Stratton leave New Orleans with the briefcases, while Roman Reigns and Stephanie Vaquer retain their championships.
