This one hurt.
Toronto went into Orlando on January 30 and for three quarters looked like the better team. The ball was moving, shots were falling and the Raptors built a double digit lead that felt sustainable.
Then the fourth quarter happened.
Orlando exploded late, outscoring Toronto 44 to 21 in the final frame and completely flipping the game. Momentum shifted fast and the Raptors just could not recover.
Brandon Ingram was outstanding, pouring in 35 points and carrying much of the offensive load. Scottie Barnes added 19 points, nine rebounds and six assists, doing a little bit of everything. Every starter reached double figures, and JaKobe Walter chipped in 13 off the bench.
For Orlando, Desmond Bane led the charge with 32 points, including huge buckets in the fourth. Anthony Black added 25 points, and Wendell Carter Jr. contributed 23 points and seven rebounds as the Magic closed strong.
It was a reminder that in the Eastern Conference, closing time matters. Three great quarters are not enough.
👏 Let’s Go Raptors 👏
