On the road. Against a contender. And it was not close.
Immanuel Quickley delivered one of his best performances of the season with 32 points and nine assists. He controlled pace, found shooters and attacked mismatches.
Brandon Ingram added 22 points and six assists, while Sandro Mamukelashvili scored 19. Off the bench, Jamal Shead gave major minutes with 12 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Milwaukee’s top scorers were Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr., each with 21 points, but the Raptors’ defensive intensity forced inefficient possessions and limited rhythm.
Toronto took control in the second quarter and never gave it back.
This was the kind of win that gets attention around the league.
Where Do The Raptors Stand In The East?
In the tightly packed NBA Eastern Conference, Toronto remains within a few games of first place. They are firmly in the playoff picture and within striking distance of the top seed.
To climb to first, three things need to happen:
- Continue winning head to head games against Eastern contenders
- Maintain defensive consistency for full four quarters
- Capitalize on home court opportunities
The margin at the top of the East is slim. A strong two week stretch can change everything.
Right now, this feels like a team that is dangerous. Not perfect. But dangerous.
👏 Let’s Go Raptors 👏
