The 2026 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift delivered a dramatic nine-stage battle from August 1–9, finishing in Nice. The overall title went to Demi Vollering, who produced a decisive ride on the final stage.
Vollering wins the Tour
Demi Vollering (FDJ-SUEZ) successfully defended her narrow lead over Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney and won the overall classification.
Vollering entered the final stage with just an 8-second advantage, but instead of simply defending, she attacked on the Col d’Èze and rode away to win Stage 9. She finished the Tour with a winning margin of 1:18 over Niewiadoma-Phinney.

Canada’s Isabella Holmgren had an outstanding Tour, finishing eighth overall. The 21-year-old Lidl-Trek rider also finished third in the young-rider classification, making her one of the major Canadian stories of the race.
This was one of the most competitive editions yet. Vollering, Niewiadoma-Phinney and Marlen Reusser repeatedly traded control of the race before the final stage dramatically reshaped the podium. Reusser’s crash opened the door for Longo Borghini, while Vollering’s attack on the final climb settled the yellow-jersey battle.
Vollering didn’t merely defend the Tour—she won it emphatically, turning an eight-second advantage into a 1:18 overall victory with a solo final-stage triumph in Nice.
