Falcons Run Over Saints 45–24 in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS — October 5, 2026 — The Atlanta Falcons turned Monday Night Football into a statement victory, dominating the New Orleans Saints 45–24 at Caesars Superdome.
Atlanta controlled the game from the opening possession, racing to a 14–0 first-quarter lead and never trailing.
The Falcons’ rushing attack was the difference, producing 205 yards on the ground while repeatedly breaking through the Saints’ defensive front.
First Quarter — Atlanta Strikes Quickly
Bijan Robinson immediately set the tone, breaking loose for a 59-yard touchdown run on Atlanta’s third offensive play.
Robinson added another touchdown later in the quarter, giving Atlanta a commanding 14–0 lead after 15 minutes.
The Saints struggled to respond, and a Kendre Miller fumble gave the Falcons excellent field position.

New Orleans finally got on the scoreboard when Alvin Kamara powered into the end zone from three yards
Atlanta answered with Brian Robinson Jr., who scored his first touchdown of the evening on a four-yard run.
A 29-yard Nick Folk field goal extended the Falcons’ advantage to 24–7 at halftime

Third Quarter — Saints Cannot Close the Gap
New Orleans opened the second half with a long drive, but the Saints had to settle for a 27-yard Daniel Carlson field goal.
Atlanta immediately answered again.
Brian Robinson scored his second touchdown of the night on an eight-yard run, pushing the Falcons ahead 31–10.
Fourth Quarter — Atlanta Finishes the Job
Kamara scored his second rushing touchdown to briefly give New Orleans some life.
That momentum disappeared quickly.
Michael Penix Jr. connected with Jahan Dotson for a 31-yard touchdown, and Brian Robinson completed his three-touchdown night with an 11-yard scoring run.
The Saints added a late touchdown from Devaughn Vele, but the game was already decided.
