Jacob Shaffelburg scored twice in the first half, giving Canada an early advantage and providing the foundation for a clean-sheet victory. 

The victory continued Canada’s preparations following its September 26 win over Chile and offered another opportunity for the national team to build chemistry ahead of its upcoming international fixtures.
