Game Preview: Leafs head to Boston in a showdown with the Bruins

The Toronto Maple Leafs (36-18-8) vs. the Boston Bruins (36-13-15) at TD Garden in Boston tonight.

Toronto is coming off a 2-1 overtime win last night over the Buffalo Sabres.

The Leafs and Bruins faced each other on Monday night, and Boston beat Toronto by 4-1.

This game is important for the Leafs, who are seven points behind Boston for second place in the Atlantic Division. Tonight is the fourth and final meeting of the season.

Mitch Marner has 15 points in his last 10 games. Two goals and 13 assists.

David Pastrnak and Morgan Geekie are two forwards to watch. Geekie scored against Toronto on Monday. He has five goals and two assists in his last 10 games. David Pastrnak collected three assists in Monday’s game. In 64 games this season, Pastrnak has 38 goals and 52 assists for 90 points.

Jeremy Swayman is expected to start for Boston. He started in net against the Leafs on Monday, facing 33 shots and stopping 32.

Joseph Woll will get the start for Toronto. He will look to bounce back following his loss on Monday.

The puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. on TSN4.
