Game Preview: Woll gets the start as Leafs look to avoid elimination

The Boston Bruins host the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight in game five of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Bruins have a chance to close out their series tonight with Toronto after winning 3-1 Saturday night and going up 3-1 in the series.

Auston Matthews is a game-time decision as he is battling an illness.

Timothy Liljegren looks to be returning to the lineup, replacing TJ Brodie after being a healthy scratch on Saturday.

Since being held pointless in games one and two, Mitch Marner has two points in his last two games. 

John Tavares will look to build momentum tonight. The Maple Leafs captain has only one point in this series.

Bruins forward Brad Marchand leads all players in this series with eight points. Marchand has had a point in all four games played.

Jeremy Swayman is the expected starter in the net for Boston.

Joseph Woll will get the start for Toronto. Woll came in relief Saturday for Ilya Samsonov.

The puck drop for tonight’s game is at 7:00p.m on Sportsnet/CBC.
