Grizzlies set franchise record for points in win over Raptors

The Memphis Grizzlies set a new franchise record in their 155-126 win over the Toronto Raptors Thursday night in Memphis.

Former DPOY Jaren Jackson Jr. had a team-high 21 points; he added 11 rebounds and six assists in the Grizzlies triumph. It was an all-around effort from the Grizzlies; each of their starters scored more than 15, Desmond Bane having the most points after Jackson Jr. with 19, while Ja Morant put up 15 and Canadian rookie Zach Edey matched Jackson’s team-high with 21 of his own while adding a huge 16 rebounds in the dominant win.

RJ Barrett continued his good scoring start to the season as he put up a team-high 27 points with nine rebounds and 10 assists. Scottie Barnes put up 26 points with six rebounds and eight assists.

This is the Raptors ninth straight loss as they drop to 7-24. Their next outing is Sunday night as they host the Atlanta Hawks.
