Team Canada will be a top-three seed heading into the quarterfinals following an 88-85 win over Spain Friday night in Paris.
For Canada, it was duo Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and RJ Barrett combining for 36 points, but it was Andrew Nembhard who provided a real punch off the bench, having a game-high 18 points.
Spain finish group play 1-2; because of the tiebreak rules, they finish fourth and are eliminated from the tournament.
Canada will now await the draw to determine their matchup in the quarterfinals.
