The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired defenceman Joel Edmundson from the Washington Capitals by Jordan in exchange for a 2024 third-round pick and 2025 fifth-round pick, reported by Jordan Schmaltz.
Washington will retain 50% of Edmundson’s salary.
In 44 games this season, Edmundson has one goal and five assists for six points.
Edmundson won the Stanley Cup in 2019 with the St. Louis Blues.
