The Dallas Mavericks will taking a 2-0 series lead home thanks to a late Luka Doncic three to give the Mavs a 109-108 win in Minnesota Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Doncic finished with a game-high 32 points also collecting a triple-double with 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Kyrie Irving had a second half splurge finishing with 20 points in the win, helping the Mavericks overcome an 18 point lead in the win.
Sixth Man of the Year Naz Reid had a team high 23 points in the loss.
The Mavericks look to take a commanding lead Sunday night as the series shifts to Dallas for game three.
