The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed defenceman Ben Danford to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Danford’s performance with the Oshawa Generals in the 2023-24 season was impressive. He put up 33 points (one goal, 32 assists) and helped the Generals reach the OHL final. In 21 playoff games, he scored four goals and six assists.
Toronto selected Danford 31st overall in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
