Toni Kroos who is retiring this season after an illustrious career at Real Madrid, kicked from corner and the set-piece allowed Dani Carvajal to head it in the back of the net to make it 1-0 at the 74’ minute. Then came the superstar Bellingham to intercept a pass from Dortmund and pass it to V.Junior to put it past Kobel in the 83’ of the match to make it 2-0. Dortmund tried their best to get back in and score a goal which was ultimately ruled offside.
At the end of the day Dortmund could not beat Ancolleti’s side and Real Madrid lifted the Champions league once again to add to their trophy cabinet.
