The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Anthony Stolarz to a two-year contract with an AAV of $2.5 million.
In 27 games played this season with the Florida Panthers, Stolarz went 16-7-2 with two shutouts. He had a GAA of 2.03 and a .925 save percentage.
Stolarz was second in goals saved expected with a +0.56, and he was third in the NHL in save percentage.
The 30-year-old netminder is coming off winning the Stanley Cup with the Panthers.
With the addition of Stolarz, Toronto has solved their need for a backup to Joseph Woll.
