Six Quarterbacks Taken In First 12 Picks Of NFL Draft, Caleb Williams Goes #1

On Thursday night, the NFL held the first round of the draft where a record six quarterbacks were drafted in the first 12 picks, and the first time since 1967 that the first three players picked were quarterbacks. To no one’s surprise, former USC quarterback Caleb Williams was chosen by the Chicago Bears with the #1 pick. The Washington Commanders grabbed Jayden Daniels (QB LSU) with the #2 pick, and with the #3 pick former North Carolina QB Drake Maye will head to the New England Patriots.

6. New York Giants: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
7. Tennessee Titans: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
8. Atlanta Falcons: Michael Penix Jr, QB, Washington
9. Chicago Bears: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
10. Minnesota Vikings (from N.Y. Jets): J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
