Toronto FC delivered an entertaining six-goal performance against Orlando City SC, earning a 3–3 draw in a match that featured momentum swings, attacking opportunities and a late Toronto goal.

The result showcased the Reds’ attacking potential while highlighting the defensive challenges that continue to affect their consistency.

26′ Lewis Morgan — Toronto FC, 1–0

Morgan opened the scoring for the Reds, finishing a move created by Theo Corbeanu and giving the home side an early advantage.

45+1′ Martín Ojeda — Orlando City, 1–1

Orlando responded just before halftime, with Ojeda converting from the penalty spot to level the contest.

49′ Theo Corbeanu — Toronto FC, 2–1

Toronto struck back early in the second half. Corbeanu finished a move assisted by Dániel Sallói to restore the Reds’ lead.

Griezmann brought Orlando level again, setting up a tense final stretch.

83′ Daryl Dike — Orlando City, 2–3

Dike put the visitors in front, converting a chance created by Iván Angulo and threatening to leave Toronto empty-handed.

89′ Matheus Pereira — Toronto FC, 3–3

Pereira delivered a crucial late equalizer, rescuing a point for Toronto and completing a six-goal thriller at BMO Field

Toronto showed attacking resilience by scoring three times and responding after Orlando took the lead late in the game.

Morgan and Corbeanu provided important attacking contributions, while Pereira’s late goal prevented a home defeat.

However, conceding three goals will concern head coach Robin Fraser.

Toronto’s ability to create scoring opportunities was balanced by its difficulty protecting leads, particularly after taking a 2–1 advantage early in the second half.

Orlando also deserves credit for repeatedly finding a response and turning the game around before Pereira’s equalizer.

Standout Performers

Lewis Morgan, Toronto FC: Opened the scoring and helped establish early momentum.

Daryl Dike, Orlando City: Scored the go-ahead goal in the closing stages.

Final Verdict

Toronto FC’s 3–3 draw with Orlando City was an entertaining result that demonstrated the Reds’ offensive capabilities but also exposed continuing defensive weaknesses.

Earning a point after falling behind 3–2 was a positive response, although Toronto will need greater defensive discipline to turn open, high-scoring matches into victories.
