Blue Jays Home run Report 2026

The Toronto Blue Jays celebrated Canada Day in style, defeating the New York Mets 9-3 at Rogers Centre to earn a series victory.

Toronto’s offense broke through early and never looked back. Rookie Sean Keys delivered the biggest moment of the afternoon, blasting his first Major League home run—a three-run shot in the third inning—to give the Blue Jays a commanding 5-0 lead. Myles Straw added to the celebration with a three-run homer in the seventh inning, putting the game out of reach.

The Blue Jays finished with 12 hits, receiving multi-hit performances from Nathan Lukes, Kazuma Okamoto, Alejandro Kirk, and Ernie Clement. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. also contributed offensively while helping set the tone throughout the lineup.

On the mound, Toronto’s bullpen was outstanding. Spencer Miles earned the victory with three scoreless innings of relief, allowing just one hit while striking out five. Veteran Patrick Corbin recorded his first save with the Blue Jays after finishing off the game.

The Mets managed only five hits. Carson Benge hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning, while Francisco Lindor added a solo homer in the ninth. New York starter Freddy Peralta took the loss after allowing five runs over four innings.

With the win, the Blue Jays concluded their homestand on a positive note before heading west for a road series against the Seattle Mariners.
