Toronto Tempo Courtside Report

The Toronto Tempo dropped a 111-92 decision to the Atlanta Dream on Friday night at Coca-Cola Coliseum, continuing a difficult stretch that has seen the club lose six of its last seven games.

Atlanta controlled the game with an explosive offensive performance, led by Angel Reese and Naz Hillmon, who helped the Dream pull away in the second half. Toronto stayed within striking distance early, but the Dream’s balanced attack and dominance on the boards proved too much to overcome.

For the Tempo, Marina Mabrey paced the offense with a game-high 26 points, knocking down timely shots and keeping Toronto competitive for much of the evening. Despite her strong outing, the Tempo struggled defensively and were unable to slow Atlanta’s efficient scoring attack.

Toronto’s recent struggles have been magnified by inconsistent fourth-quarter play and injuries to key contributors, making the playoff race increasingly challenging. The Tempo will look to regroup quickly as they prepare for their next home game and aim to get back into the win column.
