It was the first game back from the All-Star break for the Toronto Raptors, in which they lost a close overtime game 120-111 Friday night against the Miami Heat in Toronto.
Tyler Herro scored a team-high 28 points, adding seven assists, while Andrew Wiggins scored 25 points in the win. Speaking of Wiggins, the Toronto native picked up his first career win in Toronto, as entering Friday’s game he had a 0-6 record in his home town.
For the Raptors, RJ Barret led the way; he picked up a game-high 29 points while Immanuel Quickley scored 23 points and seven rebounds in the loss.
The Raptors now sit at 17-39; they welcome Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns to Toronto Sunday evening.
