Leafs close out their season against the Lightning

Toronto Maple Leafs (46-25-10) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (44-29-8)

Toronto will finish their 2023/24 season. This matchup is the fourth meeting of the season between these clubs. Tampa Bay won the last meeting 4-1.

Auston Matthews 14-game point streak ended in last night’s loss to the Florida Panthers.

Toronto is 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. They are on a three-game losing streak.

Keep an eye on Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov, who is just one assist away from reaching a milestone of 100 assists this season, a testament to his exceptional playmaking skills.

Tampa Bay is 5-4-1 in their last 10. The Lightning have lost three straight.

Matt Tomkins will start in the net for Tampa Bay.

Martin Jones is the expected starter for Toronto. He appeared in the Leafs 6-3 over the Edmonton Oilers, making five saves. Jones hasn’t started a game since February 22nd in a 7-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
