Timberwolves blow out Nuggets to force a game seven

The Minnesota Timberwolves have saved their season in a convincing way with a 115-70 win in game six Thursday night in Minnesota.

The Timberwolves held the Nuggets to just 30 percent shooting from the field and out-rebounded them 62-43. Some standouts: Anthony Edwards had a game high of 27 points, while forward Jaden McDaniels recorded 21 points on 8-for-10 shooting.

Game seven will be the first time the Nuggets have faced elimination since their first round series against the Golden State Warriors in 2022, when they lost in five games.

Game seven is Sunday night in Denver.
