The Toronto Maple Leafs continued adding organizational depth on Friday with four signings:
Vinni Lettieri re-signed with the club.
Henrik Rybinski signed a contract to bolster forward depth.
Cole McWard was signed to strengthen the blue line.
Hunter Shepard signed to add goaltending depth to the organization.
Earlier in free agency, Toronto also signed forward Brandon Duhaime to a three-year contract. The rugged winger is expected to bring physicality, penalty killing, and energy to the Leafs’ bottom six after playing all 82 games for Washington last season
While none of Friday’s moves are major headline acquisitions, they provide the Maple Leafs with experienced depth and increased competition throughout the NHL and AHL rosters as training camp approaches.
