Bryan Battle won a close hometown decision over Dalton Rosta, taking the main event by split decision (29–28, 28–29, 29–28) at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte. It was Battle’s first PFL victory.
Main Event: Battle vs. Rosta
Battle and Rosta fought a cautious, competitive three-round middleweight contest. Rosta applied pressure and had success with takedowns early, but Battle improved as the fight progressed and did enough in the later rounds to convince two judges.
The victory was especially significant for Battle because he was fighting in front of his hometown crowd. Afterward, he expressed interest in potentially welcoming Jake Paul to MMA.
