Mystics 93, Tempo 82
The Toronto Tempo’s losing streak reached 12 games Wednesday night as they fell 93-82 to the Washington Mystics at CareFirst Arena.

Kiki Rice led Toronto with 19 points, while the Tempo struggled to overcome Washington’s advantage on the glass. The Mystics won the rebounding battle 49-36 and grabbed 14 offensive rebounds.
Washington was led by Kiki Iriafen, who recorded a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The Mystics also benefited from a more efficient overall offensive performance and converted 24 of 28 free throws.
Toronto shot 43 percent from the field and connected on 11 three-pointers, but the Tempo could not generate enough consistent stops to erase Washington’s lead.
The defeat dropped Toronto to 10-25 on the season, while Washington improved to 21-14. The Mystics also completed a four-game season sweep of the Tempo
