Bills 31, Browns 7
The Buffalo Bills continued their strong 2026 preseason with a convincing 31-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Saturday at Huntington Bank Field.
Buffalo overcame an early weather delay and took control behind an efficient offensive performance and a dominant showing from its depth players. The win marked the Bills’ second straight preseason victory.
Ray Davis opened the scoring for Buffalo, capping the Bills’ first offensive drive with a one-yard touchdown run. Josh Allen helped move the offence before the reserves took over.
The Browns briefly responded to tie the game, but Buffalo regained control before halftime when Kyle Allen connected with Mecole Hardman for a touchdown. Allen also delivered several big plays through the air as the Bills continued to find production from their receiving depth.
Buffalo broke the game open in the second half. Shane Buechele connected with Ja’Mori Maclin on a 71-yard touchdown pass, one of the biggest plays of the afternoon. Buechele later added a five-yard rushing touchdown as the Bills pulled away.
The defence also made its presence felt, forcing turnovers and keeping Cleveland’s offence under control for most of the game. Damar Hamlin recorded an interception, while Te’Cory Couch also picked off a pass.
The 31-7 result gave Buffalo another encouraging preseason performance, with several players strengthening their cases as the club moves closer to final roster decisions.
