Game Preview: Crosby and the Penguins visit Toronto for the final time this season

Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins (36-30-11) visit Austin Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs (44-23-9) tonight at Scotiabank Arena.

The Maple Leafs and Penguins will finish their season series. Toronto won their last meeting 7-0.

Auston Matthews is on a 10-game point streak. Matthews has put up 18 points in that span.

Toronto is 6-4-0 in their last 10 games.

With a win tonight, the Leafs will be three points behind the Florida Panthers for second place in the Atlantic Division.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are fighting for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Pittsburgh comes into tonight’s game on a four-game winning streak. They are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games.

Alex Nedeljkovic is the expected starting goalie for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Ilya Samsonov will be in the net for Toronto. Samsonov has won four straight starts.

The puck drop for tonight’s game will be at 7:00 p.m. on Sportsnet.
