Game Preview: Matthews out again as Toronto tries to tie the series

The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Boston Bruins tonight in game six of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Bruins have another chance to close the series tonight, leading 3-2.

Auston Matthews will miss his second straight game.

Toronto will look to force game seven on Saturday night.

The Leafs will try to score on the power play tonight. They have not scored a power-play goal since game two of the series. 

Since being held pointless in games one and two, Mitch Marner has three points in his last three games. 

John Tavares will look to continue the momentum tonight after setting up the overtime winner in game five.

Jeremy Swayman is the expected starter in the net for Boston.

Joseph Woll will get the start for Toronto after making 27 saves on 28 shots in game five.

The puck drop for tonight’s game is at 8:00p.m on Sportsnet/CBC.
