Raptors center Jokob Poeltl posted a career high 35 points on 16-for-19 shooting; he capped off the career night with a double-double as he tallied 12 rebounds. Speaking of career nights, RJ Barrett recorded his first triple-double of his career, as he scored 25 points, dishing out 15 assists and collecting 10 boards.
It was Tatum’s buzzer beater in overtime that ended the thrilling contest; he finished with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. Guard Jaylen Brown had a team-high 27 points for the Celtics in the win.
The Raptors, despite moving to 2-12, can take positives out of tonight’s game; they next host the Indiana Pacers on Monday night in hopes of snapping this losing streak.
