Max Clark opened the scoring with an RBI double. Spencer Torkelson followed with a three-run homer, giving Detroit a 4-0 advantage.

Riley Greene added an RBI single to make it 5-0.

John Peck’s RBI single extended Detroit’s lead to 6-0.
Eighth inning:
The Tigers took advantage of a Toronto defensive mistake, scoring twice on a throwing error by catcher Alejandro Kirk.
Toronto finally got on the board in the bottom half when Kirk delivered an RBI single, scoring Brett Bateman.
Ninth inning:
Hao-Yu Lee hit a solo homer and Max Clark added an RBI single as Detroit completed the rout, 10-1.

Alejandro Kirk produced the RBI, while the Jays struggled to generate sustained rallies against Detroit
pitching.
Detroit starter Drew Anderson worked effectively before turning the game over to the bullpen. Toronto’s bullpen was unable to contain Detroit’s offense after the Tigers established their early advantage.

The defeat leaves Toronto 75-77, while the latest reporting has the Blue Jays two games behind Cleveland for the final AL wild-card position.
