The Minnesota Timberwolves have taken home court advantage following their 106-99 win over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night in Denver.
It was the Timberwolves who jumped to an early first-quarter lead followed by a quick Nuggets run to cancel it out. However, coming out of the half, it was Minnesota who really locked in defensively to take a 1-0 series lead.
Anthony Edwards continued his hot streak, scoring a game-high 43 points, while Sixth Man of the Year Naz Reid chipped in with 16 points.
The series continues in Denver for game two, with tip-off at 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
