The Boston Celtics have taken a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals following a 133-128 overtime win against the Indiana Pacers Tuesday night in Boston.
The Pacers were leading late in the fourth and on course to take a surprising road win in the series opener, but Jaylen Brown knocked down an important three to tie the game, leading to the Celtics win. Brown finished with 26 points, one of three Celtics players to score over 20. Jayson Tatum had a game high of 36 points and added 12 rebounds, while Jrue Holiday had an impressive stat line with 28 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.
Game two takes place Thursday night in Boston.
