The Toronto Raptors have reportedly signed veteran forward Kyle Anderson to a one-year, $3.9 million contract, adding an experienced, versatile player to their bench.

Anderson, 32, averaged 6.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 43 games last season while splitting time between the Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota Timberwolves. Known as “Slow Mo,” he brings strong basketball IQ, positional versatility, playmaking, and solid team defense.

The move also reunites Anderson with former San Antonio Spurs teammate Kawhi Leonard, who recently joined the Raptors in a blockbuster trade. Anderson is expected to provide veteran leadership and depth behind Toronto’s forward rotation, which includes Leonard, Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, rookie Collin Murray-Boyles, and Allen Graves. In other Raptors news is that the organization has signed head coach Darko Rajaković to a multi-year contract extension after leading Toronto back to the playoffs with a 46-36 record in 2025-26. General manager Bobby Webster cited Rajaković’s player development and team-first culture as key reasons for the extension

Another major piece of Raptors news announced today is that franchise legend Kyle Lowry will sign a one-day contract with Toronto before officially retiring as a Raptor on July 7. Lowry is the franchise’s all-time leader in assists, steals, and playoff wins, and was a cornerstone of the Raptors’ 2019 NBA championship team.
