RAW Rewind

PERTH, Australia — In the wake of Crown Jewel, WWE’s Monday Night Raw delivered a night of shakeups, betrayals and momentum shifts, leaving fans buzzing over what’s next.

The show opened with a recapping video of last Saturday’s event, reminding viewers of title changes and dramatic finishes. Seth Rollins emerged next with members of his faction, The Vision, to bask in the glow of his Crown Jewel victory — but the celebration would soon sour. Rollins delivered a self-congratulatory speech, placing himself at the center of “his show,” and praised Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker for backing his rise. It felt equal parts tribute and setup.

In a Triple Threat main event to determine the next challenger for Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk pinned Jey Uso after hitting his signature GTS, besting LA Knight in the process. The win painted Punk as a direct threat, and the crowd reacted with a mix of excitement and tension.

But it was the finish of Raw that stole the night. After the match, Rollins celebrated in the ring — only to be blindsided by Bron Breakker, who speared him. Bronson Reed, once a staunch ally, joined the assault. Paul Heyman looked on, visibly conflicted, as The Vision fractured. Reed and Breakker’s embrace over Rollins’ prone body, combined with Breakker raising Rollins’ World Heavyweight Title, signalled a full-blown betrayal. The Perth crowd churned with shock and adrenaline — “This is awesome,” “Holy—” chants shattered the arena’s silence.

Earlier in the card, Bronson Reed took on Jimmy Uso, focusing on Uso’s injured ribs before finishing him off with a Tsunami. He kept momentum on his side and laid the groundwork for tonight’s twist. Dominik Mysterio defended his Intercontinental Title against Penta, aided by interference from Rusev, clinging to his belt through cunning rather than clean offence. Rhea Ripley defeated Kairi Sane, but was later ambushed in a post-match attack — a jab at her narrative heading into the international leg of the tour. Tag team action featured Bayley & Lyra Valkyria defeating Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez, allowing the midcard room to breathe before the late-night drama.

Raw’s pacing felt stronger in its back half than in the opening segments. The early promos and build-up sequences lagged slightly, but the crowd’s energy never fully dipped. WWE leaned into surprise and consequence, which is a welcome shift from overbooked filler. Tonight’s betrayal was not just a ratings stunt — it changed the game.

Raw 13 Oct 2025 may be remembered less for who won, and more for who turned. Rollins may have the title, but Reed and Breakker now carry the narrative. Punk looks ready to press forward as a top threat, and the women’s divisions still smolder with undercurrent tension. WWE has handed the fans a cliffhanger — now we wait to see who rises and who pays.
