Jaden Ivey hit a layup at the buzzer to defeat the Toronto Raptors 102-100 Monday night in Detroit.
With no Cade Cunningham, somebody had to step up. Jaden Ivey answered the call; he had a team-high 25 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the field while dishing out eight assists.
Scottie Barnes scored a game-high 31 points for the Raptors in the loss, adding 14 rebounds and seven assists in his third game back from injury.
The Raptors now fall to 4-14 and are still looking for their first victory on the road where they’re 0-10. They now will make their way to New Orleans to take on the Pelicans Wednesday night.
